This event is part of our Small Business Night School series where we are offering 8 sessions to help support you with your business.

These sessions have been chosen based upon feedback from our members and are all facilitated by experts in their field. Each one will have a workshop format with numbers capped at 25 to allow lots of opportunities to ask questions and discuss real life examples. Our aim is you should leave these sessions with some practical advice and a clear understanding of the way forward which is appropriate to you. You are welcome to attend all 8, or to simply pick those most relevant to your business. This session on understanding your accounts and cash flow is aimed at business owners who need support with managing their business finances. The session will help you understand common terms your accountant may use, to have a clear picture of how your finances fit together and how you can keep track of your cash flow day to day.

Hans Gobin (ACA FCCA MBA)

Hans is a Chartered Accountant and an MBA holder with over 25 years of wide and deep experience. He trained and qualified with KPMG and then moved to commerce and industry after 8 years.

Up until 2010 Hans held various different progressive roles in Mauritius, Europe and in UK with his last being with BT as Finance Director.

For the last 10 years Hans has been running his own company working as an Interim Finance Director and running his own accountancy practice across many different companies from Start-ups and SME through medium size to large PLCs.”
