This event is part of our Small Business Night School series where we are offering 8 sessions to help support you with your business.

These sessions have been chosen based upon feedback from our members and are all facilitated by experts in their field. Each one will have a workshop format with numbers capped at 25 to allow lots of opportunities to ask questions and discuss real life examples. Our aim is you should leave these sessions with some practical advice and a clear understanding of the way forward which is appropriate to you. You are welcome to attend all 8, or to simply pick those most relevant to your business. Event details - Get to grips with social media

In this session, social media marketer, mentor and influencer marketing expert, Karina Scott from Girl About Social, will inspire you to approach social media in a smarter, more efficient way. She'll tell you how to transform your social media activity from a source of guilt, frustration and overwhelm, to a place of excitement, potential and growth and ignite your social media presence to inspire engagement from your ideal clients.

By attending this workshop, you will be able to:

• Understand the importance of adding the right information to your profile 
• Ensure you are posting quality content
• Set aside time to plan, schedule and create content
• Make sure you are connecting with your audience – Social media is not a one way conversation
• Know how to review your content every 6 months (Building an audience online is impossible without understanding the communities on each platform)
• Ensure that you are posting the right content for your business
• Create brand guidelines for your business and stay true to your colour palette

Attendance at this workshop can be counted towards your CPD target, set by your own professional membership or governing body.
