Although primarily for networking, many brands use LinkedIn to reach professionals across the globe.

LinkedIn is a social platform designed for professionals to connect and network online, LinkedIn pages can be personal or represent a brand. If you have a personal LinkedIn account you can create a page for your business to share news and content across the platform.

If another member of LinkedIn is following your company page, it’s likely they are keen to gain information, updates and insights on your business.

Here are three ideas to help you create content for your LinkedIn page.

Jobs and career information

Your LinkedIn company page is a great channel for potential new hires to learn more about your company. You can showcase points such as:

  • Company culture
  • Employees experience working at the company
  • Employee achievements
  • Current open positions

Tip: Attaching an image or video to your LinkedIn posts is more likely to drive higher engagement.

LinkedIn found that “images generally result in a 98% higher comment rate” and “links to YouTube videos play directly in the LinkedIn feed and usually result in a 75% higher share rate”.

Company news

Aside from posting job opportunities and career information, you can also post about any company milestones your business may have achieved.

How often should I post on LinkedIn?

Research from LinkedIn found that company pages which post weekly can see a 2x increase of engagement on their posts. Consistency is key and regular posts will not only keep your followers up to date but also that you keep appearing on their timelines.
