M&H Carriers deliver parcels, pallets, and freight in Argyll, Tayside, Grampian, and the Highlands and Islands. Owned by FSB member Fraser MacLean since 2021, the company has 14 depots and over 200 vehicles operating throughout Scotland, servicing over 10,000 consignments every day.
“The Federation of Small Businesses has helped on government issues and improved understanding in relation to key issues in the sector through their relationship with government and they have also provided key advice on matters and also introduced other members requiring our services and this has been good for business as it opens many doors commercially through their vast network,” says Fraser.
“It was a no-brainer. Joining opens up so many doors in terms of networking and also so much useful advice when required. It can be lonely owning and running a business at times, and speaking to other members who are in the same situation is a great comfort and reduces the burden felt,” adds Fraser.
