FSB members invited to Stand 240 at noon at Business Vision Live

FSB, proud Event Partner of Business Vision Live, invites all members to meet with the Kent Team at noon at their stand number 240.

FSB Kent Area Leader, says, “Business Vision Live is the perfect opportunity to catch up with old friends, make new business contacts and learn something new. I’m very much looking forward to it and hope to see a lot of our members at noon on our stand.”

Deborah added, “In the past year there has been a surge in volunteers stepping forward to host local events in their communities, which we are very grateful for. Their contribution means that members meet other local businesses, forge new contacts and ultimately meet new clients.

Topics at these events have ranged from skills and employability to women in enterprise, cash flow, employment law and wellbeing. We will be making sure we say a big THANK YOU to all our wonderful volunteers. Business Vision Live is the perfect place to do this!”

Stephen Askew (pictured), FSB Non-Executive Director, will be hosting a roundtable with businesses on the national skills shortage and ‘cultivating a home-grown talent strategy’.

Stephen says, “We know that apprenticeships can do a lot for small businesses. However our research shows that changes in Government legislation has put off businesses from hiring apprentices. We will be looking at what we can do on a local basis to ensure our firms are fit for the future.”
