Breakfast networking with Surrey businesses

Join us for this very special face to face networking event. You will take part in networking with other local business owners. This is a ticketed event so booking in advance is required.

This month’s breakfast will be a Sustainability themed event with speaker Brune Torrente - Greener Futures Funding Programme & Marketing Officer, Surrey County Council.

Brune will be discussing the different grants that are currently available for businesses in Surrey:

  1. A3 EV Grant

Grants up to £10,000 for businesses and charities to upgrade their diesel van to fully electric. To be eligible you need to drive on the A3 by Guildford around 3 times per week.

  1. Rural England Prosperity Fund

Grants up to £50,000 non-repayable grant and up to 50% of capital project cost. Eligible businesses will be in the rural areas of Guildford, Waverley and Tandridge.

  1. Farming in Protected Landscapes (FiPL)

Grants for farmers and land managers in the Surrey Hills for one-off projects to make improvements to the natural environment, cultural heritage and public access on their land.

We will also be discussing the FSB Sustainability Hubs tools and resources to help your business on its sustainability journey to net zero.

We will start with a delicious cooked full English breakfast, giving you the opportunity to network with other like-minded business owners and professionals.

  • Full English breakfast, tea and coffee will be provided.
  • Price is £16 for members and £20 for non-members, and there are limited spaces.
  • Ample on-site free parking.
  • Venue disabled access and accessability as required by law.

  • 7:30am - Breakfast will be served
  • 8:10am – Keynote Speaker Presentation
  • 8:40am – Round the room – introduce your business
  • 9:00am - Open networking with fresh tea/coffee
