Join us for insightful presentations from wellbeing experts who will share practical tips and advice. You’ll also have the chance to connect and network with fellow small business owners.

This month the theme will be "Navigating Menopause and Fertility in Professional Settings". We will discuss "Women's Health in the workplace, guidance and good working practice."

Guest Speaker:

This month's speakers are Anita Guru from The Mind Coach and Alison Theaker from The Spark.

Anita Guru who works with the charity Fertility Network UK within the Fertility in the Workplace team, collaborating with organisations to educate and tailor solutions to support employees on a fertility journey.

Anita Founder of The Mind Coach has been on a personal journey with infertility spanning 10 years, and with mental illness. Following a diagnosis of endometriosis, Anita has gone on to have multiple operations of treatment and rounds of IVF. When her second round of IVF resulted in an ectopic pregnancy, she was later diagnosed with PTSD following an inpatient stay at a mental health care facility after a deterioration in her mental health.

She has since been raising awareness around infertility and mental health and is very passionate about breaking the stigma in the workplace, and open the conversation for others who may be struggling or feeling lonely.

Alison has 30 years experience in public relations and management as a practitioner, academic and author.

Through Alison's coaching and training business, The Spark, she works with small businesses and sole traders to make sure that their businesses are the best they can be.

The Spark has developed courses and resources for women planning for a great menopause. They enable women to make powerful choices and discover their true selves.
