Speaker

Our guest speaker this month will be Angela Williamson from Peak District Counselling. Angela will be talking about 'Effective Stress Management for Small Business Owners' and she will discuss:

  • Clearly defining helpful and unhelpful stress.
  • Effective strategies you can adopt right now to start managing stress more effectively.
  • The impact of trying to “Tough It Out” unhelpful stress - implementing a realistic solution focused approach.

Angela is a psychotherapist / counsellor accredited with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP). She works exclusively from her private practice, Peak District Counselling, in Bakewell.

Additionally, she is a motivational coach helping clients to achieve their personal and professional goals and recently qualified as a yoga instructor registered with Yoga Alliance.

Angela’s career path is people centred from her bachelors degree in Human Resources Management, experience built in various roles within industry, love of training and now as a counsellor.

She has lived in 7 countries over a period of 20 years prior to settling in the Peak District 6 years ago.

We will also hear about the latest developments at the Peak District National Park Authority, who are our venue hosts for the evening.

You will be hosted by Debbie Porter, FSB volunteer and founder of Destination Digital. Free parking is available at the venue.
