Event Details

The Make Chat Work campaign has been created by NESCAFÉ to get the UK talking about the importance of taking coffee breaks and connecting with others in the workplace. Explore how you can look after your wellbeing and discover top tips on working remotely to avoid isolation and loneliness. Also, one lucky attendee will win a year’s supply of coffee!

Research* from NESCAFÉ shows that nearly half of UK workers in the construction industry feel lonely in the workplace. Eight out of 10 workers in this sector agree having opportunities to talk to colleagues around coffee breaks would make them feel less lonely. This is just one sector out of hundreds in the UK, but gives a glimpse into why it’s more important than ever to have open and honest conversations about how small businesses can make a positive impact on their own, as well as their teams', wellbeing.

FSB Legal will be on hand to offer practical advice on how to implement wellbeing policies in your organisation; and you can hear from a small business owner first hand about how they have made positive change in their business and the impact it has had on productivity, retention, and welfare.

We will also look at the work NESCAFÉ has done with academics and experts into the importance of ‘unplanned interactions’ and ‘team collaboration’ in the workplace as well as explore how business owners can look after their wellbeing and provide top tips on working remotely to avoid isolation and loneliness.

We hope you can join us!
