Struggling with a cost barrier? Don't know where to find help?

Are you a small or medium employer in Lancashire & Cumbria whose business needs to accommodate particular heath needs of an employee. Always a challenging issue and particularly acute when there is a limited number of staff with the skills, knowledge and experience essential to keeping your business alive.

You can get a workplace health assessment to support an employee's health & disability, financial support may be available to fund this assessment.

The Department for Work & Pensions (DWP) and Department of Health & Social Care (DHSC) are trialling a scheme to offer SMEs financial support and help finding an occupational health provider. The service aims to help SMEs with the costs of the assessments for their employees.

These assessments will help you understand how to support your employee's health at work, in the longer term this could help you save money by:

  • reducing absences
  • increasing productivity

There are added benefits to an employee:

  • help a return to work after a period of absence
  • gain expert advice
  • get the support they might need

You can register your interest for this scheme by completing this simple form.
