In June 2023 CrewCymru emerged as a beacon of hope for children and young people in South Wales, that may be facing challenges hindering their access to traditional education. At the helm is Lisa Brunt, a passionate advocate for the well-being and future of the younger generation.
Standing out as an organisation dedicated to providing bespoke specialist support and well-being interventions to children and young people aged 13-18, and focused on those facing challenges such as trauma, adverse childhood experiences, anxiety and ASD/ADHD, CrewCymru goes beyond academic support with a holistic approach that addresses the multifaceted needs of each individual.
Beyond individual impact, Lisa understands that every child is unique, and their challenges are diverse. All interventions are tailor-made to meet the specific needs of each young person, recognising the importance of considering their backgrounds, experiences, and individual characteristics. This personalised approach ensures that the support provided is not only effective but also respectful of the individuality of each young person.
When we asked Lisa what she values most about being an FSB member, she told us “I love that from the very first event I attended I was made to feel welcome and part of a wonderful organisation.
Since becoming a member I have already started using the many resources provided to help me grow my business. Other members have been really supportive and the FSB team are always on hand to answer any queries that may arise.”
