Some top tips on reducing your risk of cyber attack and free IT and Cyber health checks for FSB members from Level 5.

The risks to small businesses from Cyber Attackers are growing, the investment by attackers is growing and their skills are getting better every day. 

Small business can be completely oblivious to the level of risk that they carry.  

One of the phrases we hear a lot is “I wish I had done this before”.   

Take action today, you won’t regret it.

Here’s some tips,

  1. Both Apple and Samsung password managers both suggest that you need to change passwords from them being weak or being re-used across multiple sites. Change them today and delete the website passwords you haven’t used in the last year. 
  2. Have you still got data from old customers containing personal data, do you really need to store it ?  Ask yourself if you lost this data, could you explain why you kept it. Simple answer is delete it. The risk of you losing this data is gone forever.
