#LookCloser Programme of Learning - The Children's Society Prevention Programme

Local News 12 Sep 2023

The latest #LookCloser programme of learning sessions focus on a range of topics and seek to support professionals in their work to protect children and young people from exploitation and abuse.

#LookCloser is a partnership campaign between The Children's Society, the National County Lines Co-ordination Centre and the British Transport Police aiming to raise awareness of child exploitation and abuse and to encourage the public and businesses to better identify and report concerns. The campaign also seeks to challenge assumptions and victim stereotypes, highlighting that child exploitation can happen anywhere, and any young person can be a victim.

All sessions are free of charge and delivered live via Microsoft Teams.
The timetable below has links to the Eventbrite booking pages for each event.
All our sessions have been designed to be relevant to multiple professional
audiences and stakeholders, so please feel free to share with anybody you
think may benefit.

New events for 2024 to 2025 will be added to the programme soon
and we encourage you to visit our #LookCLoser website for the latest
