With the summer term now upon us many schools across Warwickshire are holding events that need support from local employers. These events include mock interviews, career fairs, business breakfasts, and work placements and experience. By giving your time you are helping to make a difference, through adding the real-life context to a students careers education. Taking steps to improve City Council procurement policies
As part of the Coventry City Council continued efforts to improve procurement policies and processes, it is encouraging businesses to complete its annual survey. Business and Skills event coming to North Warwickshire
Warwickshire Skills Hub and partners are hosting a drop-in public event at Coleshill Town Hall on Tuesday 11 June between 10:00-13:00.
The in-person event will be a positive opportunity for jobseekers, entrepreneurs, and professionals of all ages to meet like-minded people, learn about skills opportunities, and grow their career prospects.
It will also act as a space for local businesses to connect with others in their fields of interest, discover new ideas to expand their business offering, and find out about support or funding potentially available to them. More here
FSB Awards
We are thrilled to see three local businesses heading for the UK final of the FSB Celebrating Small Business Awards 2024 as winners from the West Midlands. They were presented with their regional awards at a ceremony at Coombe Abbey Hotel on 18 March and will now attend the national finals to be held at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool on 9th May.
