Help to Grow: Management course Now Available in Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire

Businesses in the local area are invited to apply for Help to Grow: Management course. This 12-week executive development programme is 90% funded by the UK government, with some fully funded places available at certain institutions. It aims to support managers and leaders of small and medium sized businesses to boost business performance, resilience, and long-term growth.

In addition to the subsidy, participants benefit from:

  • one-to-one support from a business mentor
  • access to a network of like-minded business leaders
  • a bespoke growth plan to help the business reach its full potential

The Help to Grow leadership and management programme is delivered through a combination of online webinars and face-to-face workshops and is open to those in a senior management position; in a Small or Medium-sized Enterprise based in the UK, that employs between 5 and 249 employees.

Nottingham University Business School are running another cohort of ‘Help to Grow: Management Course’. This programme will help boost the performance and resilience of your business. Designed and delivered by entrepreneurs and industry experts at world-class business schools, this leadership course will provide time away from the challenges of running a business to invest in your leadership, and how to learn to take your business to the next level.

The cohort starts in June, but we do recommend people to register quickly.

The help to grow programme at Derby Business School is one of the best staffed in the country. Tutors delivering in the programme range from previous Head of Business Schools, Head of a Professional Management Qualification awarding partner institution, active and previous board members of global corporations, and consultants with many years’ experience in teaching and industry consulting.

Apart from the very high level of teaching, Derby Business School offers a range of support services to H2GM alumni including business diagnostics within the regional business observatory hosted by the University of Derby. At Derby Business School, the H2GM programme is not only an opportunity to support SME growth through management learning and monitoring but we go further by partnering with SMEs to engage with the practical steps they need after the course to materialise their growth plans.
