TRANSITION

The transition period came to an end on December 31 2020. If you are a UK business which trades with Europe, you will need to change your procedures and complete additional paperwork. See FSB's transition hub for further advice.

TCA ratified

The EU formally ratified the UK-EU Trade and Cooperation Agreement (TCA) this week. As the EU had provisionally applied the TCA since 1 January, the ratification will not cause any practical changes to current UK-EU trade.

Access to cash pilots launched

More than 80 Community Access to Cash Pilots (CACP) are now live across the UK, trialling new ways to protect access to cash. Shared banking hubs, enhanced Post Office services, super ATMs and cashback without purchase in shops are all being trialled. Help to Grow

The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy is conducting research into small business requirements and priorities in order to further shape the Help to Grow initiative. Please register by Tuesday 4 May.

Late payments
