Local News 21 Mar 2024

Local small businesses are set to benefit from a day of workshops and networking, as the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) launches its first ever bootcamp in East Anglia.

The event takes place at the iconic waterfront building at the University of Suffolk, overlooking Ipswich’s marina. It marks FSB’s 50th anniversary and is part of a series of celebrations.

Taking place on 18 April, business owners and entrepreneurs will have the chance to take part in workshops on:

  • Branding and PR essentials, delivered by freelance marketeer Grace Boughton and Rechenda Smith from Nurture Marketing
  • Building a sales pipeline, delivered by Andrew Bracking of Sales Geek
  • Social media marketing and digital advertising, delivered by Google

The day closes with a networking event to celebrate FSB’s golden anniversary, with birthday cake included!

Candy Richards, Development Manager for the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) says “When you run a small business, you’re often responsible for every element of making your business a success - from social media through to sales. Which is why we wanted to deliver a day of practical workshops full of insight and tips that attendees can put into practice straight away. With this year being our 50th golden anniversary, we wanted to help equip our local small businesses to join us in Going for Gold!”

Tickets are priced from just £10 with low-cost exhibitor space starting from £75. To find out more click here.
