The new connection must at least double your current download speed, therefore delivering a significant change in speed for you.
The levels of funding you can apply for will depend on the connection speed and will be £400 for 10Mbps and above or £800 for 30Mbps and above.
To check if you are eligible for the scheme you will need to first find out if you already have available access to a fast broadband service and you can use Openreach’s address checker for this.
Please be aware that the grant does not include running costs and please do not carry out any installation process before funding has been awarded as it can not be applied retrospectively.
