Discover the resources, support and guidance Teesside University has to offer our small business community at this networking and industry open day event.

Join FSB and Teesside University as we provide a platform for business owners from across the North East England Region to come together in an informal and engaging environment.

The event will bring together members of the Employer Engagement Team and Faculty members from across a variety of disciplines to provide attendees with the opportunity to explore how the University can support your small business.

Attendees will have the opportunity to network, provide peer support, learn about local support streams, and provide candid feedback on topical matters impacting your business - whether these are challenges we can help you overcome, issues that need to be raised, or opportunities to increase support provisions that will enable business success.

Agenda:

9.30am – Arrivals and refreshments, informal networking
9.45am – Welcome and introductions (FSB)
10.00am – Guest speakers (Teesside University)
10.45am – Breakout sessions (opportunity to network in small groups)
11.30am – Event close

Our speakers – Teesside University International Business School (TUIBS)

Attendees will hear from Andrew Bingham (Acting Dean of TUIBS), Ben Fisher (Associate Dean of TUIBS) and Emma Vincent (Deputy Director of Student Futures) from Teesside University on the range of services and support businesses can access from the University. We will also hear from business owners who have benefitted from engaging with the University on their experience and how this has helped them take their business to new heights.

Free-to-attend with pastries and refreshments available. Open to both members and non-members. Places are limited so book early.

Parking
Pay and display parking available in car parks and on-street.
