Celebrate International Women’s Day in partnership with Funny Women and Medway Council by having some FUN AT WORK!

Funny Women has been empowering women in the comedy industry for over 20 years and its HERlarious workplace programmes encourage professional women to have their voice.

We are proud to partner Funny Women to bring you this very special free event as part of its Comedy in the Community programme in Medway.

Take part in a lively round of quickfire workshops facilitated by amazing local business women, followed by an interactive panel featuring local leaders and a live comedy show.

Boost your confidence to take on a leadership role within your community, apply for a job you’ve always wanted and get valuable advice on how to ‘perform’ and develop techniques to communicate more effectively. We will be showing you how to create your own material, interpret body language, tell a story and develop a strong personal narrative with humour.

Everyone is encouraged to attend, regardless of gender.

Coffee and tea will be served upon arrival and a drinks reception will take place before a live comedy show.

This event is FREE to attend and fully funded by Medway Council and the UK Government Levelling Up initiative. However, we are asking for optional donations to our nominated charity, the Wisdom Hospice.

Please note that this is an external event and when you click 'book now' it will take you to Funny Women's booking page. You will need to book directly with them to secure your place.
