Join us for networking and some presentations at The Foundry

Join us at Foundry, home of Barclays Eagle Lab Poole for an info packed event featuring different speakers plus the opportunity to network with other delegates. At this event, two short presentations will cover two different topics. There will also be opportunities for networking with other delegates. Everyone is welcome whether an FSB member or non-member.

Our speakers:

Guy Edwards – Founder of Blackbird Agency will talk about “The four common sales challenges”.

Guy is a rare person who LOVES sales! The reason why is because he loves the feeling of closing a sale… and the reason being, because he knows when he sells the right product or service to the right person, he has made a positive difference to their life!

He is passionate about helping businesses develop the skills to find the RIGHT business opportunities and turn their Leads into Customers.

In this session Guy will be talking about creating opportunities, following up, asking for the deal and objection handling.

Christian Ørner – Private Chef and Chocolatier will share his experience about “The Importance of doing things you are passionate about":

Christian set up the multi award winning SALT Cø. Private Chef and Chocolatier in February 2017 after working not only in restaurants and hotels, but also a luxury yacht, a cruise ship and a sailing ship.

He makes no secret of how much he loves his job. And this, for Christian, is the most important part of running a business. “How can you expect anyone else to have any passion about your business if you don’t”.

He is very much looking forward to talking with you all about passion and how to get that across. Get ready for a fun and interactive chat.

Nicky Kildunne, FSB Development Manager for Dorset will also update you about grants, funding and business support opportunities available to businesses based in Dorset.

There is public parking close by, including the Dolphin Shopping Centre multi-storey and Seldown car park.
