Business owners and managers will also have the opportunity to ask questions to our expert speakers, and to meet and make links with other attendees, before and after hearing from our speakers.

The event is suitable for small businesses from all sectors.

Speaker Information

We are delighted to be joined by guest speakers Paul Peters from The Cyber Resilience Centre For Wales and Eric Davies from DoodlyDog Website Design

Paul Peters

Paul will be speaking about 'Busting Small Business Cyber Myths'

Paul Peters

Many business owners believe that cyber isn’t something that affects them, but the reality is that so much of running a business involves being online, and with that comes the risk of an attack interrupting your business continuity – imagine having no website available, no sales, no invoices to send out…

In this session Director of the Cyber Resilience Centre for Wales, Detective Superintendent Paul Peters, will look to demystify cyber.

He’ll explain how it can affect your business and the simple measures we can all take to protect against online crime and ultimately keep criminals out of our businesses.

Eric Davies

Eric will be discussing ‘Is Your Website Really An Asset?’

Many business owners think that simply launching their website is ‘job done’ and they can move on to other things. Yet if your website is slow to load, hard to navigate or difficult to read, is it really doing your business any good?

In this session, web designer Eric Davies will explore these and other issues that can put people off your business - and suggest steps that you can take to make your website a positive asset.
