Event Details

Join us for an exciting opportunity to expand your professional network and build lasting connections with other business leaders in your local community. Our upcoming in-person Bakewell networking event is the perfect opportunity to meet new people, learn about other businesses in the area, and share your own expertise and ideas.

At this event, you'll have the chance to connect with other professionals across a variety of industries, all while enjoying a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're looking to find new clients, explore partnership opportunities, or simply meet like-minded individuals, this event is one not to miss.

In addition to the valuable networking opportunities, we'll also have teas and coffees, savoury and sweet nibbles.

Our guest speaker this month will be Summa Watson, who is a Health Improvement Practitioner and also part of the Disability Employer Engagement Derbyshire (DEED), in Public Health at Derbyshire County Council.  Summa's presentation will have the title 'Empowering Employers' and the aim is to give as much information about free services, funding, toolkits and resources for employers to use, concerning disability, long term health conditions and mental health.

We will also hear about the latest developments at the Peak District National Park Authority, who are our venue hosts for the evening.

You will be hosted by Debbie Porter, FSB volunteer and founder of Destination Digital. Free parking is available at the venue.

This event is supported by the Peak District National Park.

Please note, we will need to let the venue know of any dietary requirements one week prior to the event and therefore cannot guarantee any dietary requirements after that time.

To enable FSB to deliver a high level of customer service at our events, and to tailor the content where appropriate, we will share your full name and business name with the host of the event you have registered to attend. The event hosts are representatives of FSB who irretrievably delete your details following the event.  Should you not consent your full name and business name being shared with the event host, please contact [email protected] within three working days of the event taking place, with details of the event.
