Two new appointments have strengthened the press and policy team at FSB Wales.

Commenting on his new post, Dr Llyr ap Gareth, Senior Policy Advisor, said: “I am so excited to join a dynamic team that contributes so much to the Welsh political and economic landscape, and I look forward to playing my part in that work.

“Small and medium sized businesses are hugely significant to the economy and communities across Wales, and I am looking forward to representing a sector that is going to be even more important to the challenges and opportunities facing Wales over the next few years.”

Politics and International Relations graduate Natalie joins the FSB from studying at Cardiff University, as well as her role organising large-scale events and supporting overseas students in the International Student Support Office.

Commenting on her new role, Natalie Zhivkova, Operational Support Administrator, said:

“Taking up a position with a campaigning organisation with a mission that I am passionate about was my number one priority and I am over the moon that I found the perfect spot for me in the FSB Wales team. As an avid supporter of local businesses I couldn’t have asked for a better environment to work within.”

Ben Francis, FSB Wales Policy Chair, said:

“There has never been a more critical time for the Welsh economy and for the concerns and priorities of business to be heard in government, and I’m thrilled that we have such a strong staff team communicating the voice of our 10,000 members in Wales to politicians at all levels.

“On top of the outstanding services and practical local support we offer to members across Wales, it is essential that we continue to build on our work in representing the small and medium-sized businesses that are so important to the economy and to communities across Wales”.

Ben Cottam, FSB Wales Head of External Affairs, said:

“I am delighted to welcome Natalie and Llyr to the thriving FSB Wales team.

“Both bring with them exceptional skills and I look forward to them putting them to good use supporting our outstanding members across Wales. Natalie and Llyr round-off a formidable staff team, all of whom are passionate about advancing the conditions for running a business in Wales.”
