Focusing on one-to-one in-person networking, Meet the Buyer North 2022 will allow your business to connect with "real" buyers from right across the public sector, as well as private contractors with supply chain opportunities and business support providers, all under one roof.
Focus on Face-to-Face Networking
This free event affords suppliers that wish to do business in the North of Scotland unprecedented access to buyers and decision makers from across the public and private sectors, with the opportunity to raise your profile as a business and prepare for upcoming contract opportunities. Businesses will be able to meet procurement teams from local councils, alongside other public and private sector buying organisations, with additional exhibitors still being confirmed.
In addition to exhibitions from the Scottish Government, confirmed exhibitors will include buyers from Moray, Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, and Highland Councils.
Buyers looking to connect with local businesses across the region also include Highlands and Islands Enterprise, the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA), Historic Environment Scotland, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, and Social Security Scotland.
Other exhibiting organisations include Scottish Procurement Alliance, PfH Scotland, Scotland Excel, Advanced Procurement for Universities and Colleges (APUC), and the UK’s largest public sector buying organisation, Crown Commercial Service.
Mitie will be exhibiting to talk about supply chain opportunities for several of its customers in the public sector, including the provision of Hard FM for The Scottish Government and its five strategic partner organisations, covering buildings located across the Scottish mainland and islands.

This event is designed to support micro, small and medium sized businesses in the North of Scotland to engage with business opportunities in the public sector. Businesses of all sizes are welcome to attend Meet the Buyer North. Non-SME suppliers are also eligible to attend.

Scottish SMEs, supported businesses and third sector organisations are also invited to get “tender ready” by attending free tender training webinars organised by the Supplier Development Programme, including Working with the Public Sector - All You Need to Know on 1 September and Quick Quotes Made Easy on 8 September.
