Disabled Entrepreneurs – Support and Advice on starting and growing your business

Webinar 14 Jun 2022

Watch our webinar offering advice, support and guidance for people who are starting or growing a business with a disability.

In the first of our three webinars supporting FSB’s latest campaign, Business Without Barriers, we’re focussing on support and advice available as a disabled entrepreneur. Whether you’re thinking about starting a business or you’re looking to expand, this webinar will explore the opportunities and challenges disabled people face.

First we will be joined by disabled entrepreneur and motivational speaker Mark Esho MBE. He was struck by polio at the age of five and has since overcome many hurdles to become the owner of several successful businesses and launch a charity to help disabled entrepreneurial start-ups.

Paul Jones, Senior Manager South West at British Business Bank, will then outline the financial support available for disabled people looking to start their own business.

FSB member Nicky Marshall, Director of Discover Your Bounce, will share her own story of how she had to totally change her career after a disabling stroke at the age of 40. Nicky now works to support and encourage all small business owners and the self-employed.
