An opportunity for FSB members to have exploratory research undertaken for free, to help their business

Every business owner has ideas for growth and expansion, but so many times we don’t have the time or the resources to undertake the necessary research and preparation. De Montfort University is offering an opportunity for FSB members to have exploratory research undertaken for free, to help their business and international student’s studies.

As part of their DMU course, commercial MSc students take a 12-week project each summer, where they work on a live business project for a client (remotely), completely free of charge. There is no limit to the type of research they will do, but students are given the option to choose from a variety of live, commercial projects. This year, DMU have a wide selection of international students, who have knowledge of their home countries and markets and can help with projects looking into global cultures, global trade, international commercial environment influences, routes to market, and global competitors. The team will also consider UK-based projects.
