Reference number: 20131125BankLending

Commenting on the findings of a report by Lawrence Tomlinson into bank lending practices, Roger House, Chairman, Kent and Medway Federation of Small Businesses, said:

"If these allegations are true then this is concerning for small businesses. The regulators need to investigate the findings of both the Tomlinson and Sir Andrew Large reports and swiftly address any issues raised to restore trust in the banks. A continued economic recovery needs small businesses to succeed and FSB Kent wants to see a healthy lending market to create growth and jobs."
