Wales award winners encourage others to follow suit

There are many opportunities to shine a light on your business with the FSB Wales Celebrating Small Business Awards. One such chance is micro-business of the year, which celebrates micro businesses punching above their weight for businesses with fewer than 10 employees. Judges will be looking for businesses that have demonstrated strong revenue growth and a product or service of a quality that stands above competitors.

This category celebrates the best of those businesses that whilst being small in size, are making waves in the Welsh business sector and deserve to be commended on the national stage.

Last years’ winner was digital animation business Animated Technologies. Based in M-Sparc, Menai Bridge Science Park, Animated Technologies is run by husband and wife team Tom and Anna Burke, and was an evolution of award-winning creative agency White Wabbit Studios. Since the rebrand, the company has seen considerable success in winning multiple new business contracts with established engineering companies.

Encouraging others to take part in the FSB Awards, Anna Burke Director of Animated Technologies, said:

"Winning our award was absolutely amazing and exhilarating! The feeling of winning an award is so rewarding, and that is exactly what it is. A reward to show everyone the great stuff you do as a business. It gives you confidence and drive to do more and better. "

Entering the FSB Awards is an opportunity to highlight the achievements of your team. The awards have been shown to boost morale, draw positive PR and attract new business opportunities.
