New Ministers clear diaries to meet with FSB

Who do you call if you’ve been charged with growing the Scottish economy and helpingJanet Torley, FSB East of Scotland Area Lead; Jamie Hepburn, Minister for Business, Fair Work and Skills; Martin Little, FSB Scotland Regional Chair the country’s business community thrive? Well, us! 

At the end of June, First Minister Nicola Sturgeon appointed a new Cabinet, appointing a new Business Minister in the shape of Jamie Hepburn MSP and expanding the portfolio of Cabinet Secretary for Finance Derek Mackay. 

Shortly after they were appointed, both politicians made time in their busy schedules to meet with FSB to discuss key priorities for the Scottish small business community like business rate reforms and regulatory restraint.

But we’re off to a good start with some of Scotland’s most important decision-makers taking time to talk small business.
