FSB London Calls on Members to write direct to their MP on Business Rates

Since the launch of the FSB London Business Rates report we have received some excellent media coverage and with an upcoming Budget just around the corner we are calling on members to use a TEMPLATE LETTER to write direct to the Chancellor to urge him to target support for small firms. If you could sign the letter and send to your MP it would help support our lobbying efforts. Thanking you in advance.

New research by FSB shows small business outgoings have risen as direct result of public policy decisions over last five years- significantly outpacing inflation. The Impact of Government Policy Index has found a range of Government taxes, reliefs and employer obligations have caused outgoings for smaller firms to rise by an average of 12.5 per cent in the five years to 2016. National chairman Mike Cherry emphasised that policymakers should "take heed of this cumulative burden" when it comes to future policy interventions.
