In less than a month, thousands of businesses from across the globe will be heading to Liverpool for the International Festival for Business (IFB) 2016. The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) is delighted to be contributing to this three week festival of events, networking and deal-making. FSB’s headline day-long event – ‘From Northern Powerhouse to Global Markets – Small Firms and the Global Trade Agenda’ - will be held on Monday 20 June 2016 at the Exhibition Centre Liverpool, Kings Dock St, Liverpool Waterfront, Liverpool, L3 4FP. The day will be hosted by BBC North West’s Arif Ansari, with a Senior Government Minister heading an impressive cast list of international speakers. Discussion and debate will be focussed around three high-level sessions: opportunities for small firms in a changing landscape of trade agreements, barriers small firms experience when they start to export, and how small firms can benefit from supply chains. FSB will also be exclusively trailing some new export research that will be published later in the Summer.
