Fixed monthly cost is the number one reason small businesses choose contract hire as a way to run a fleet of company vehicles, according to research.
Fifty per cent of small businesses said this was a factor in their decision to choose contract hire. The second most popular reason small businesses use contract hire is to allow them to effectively only pay for the use of the car.
The findings come from the 2017 small business edition of Arval’s Corporate Vehicle Observatory research, which covers 101 UK companies with fewer than 10 employees that operate at least one vehicle.
