Join us for online networking via Zoom.

Join us at the next FSB Tees Valley Virtual Networking session, designed to help us all keep connecting, collaborating and supporting each other at a time when change is on our doorstep.

This month, the event will be a little different to our usual Thursday session! We will be supporting Darlington Business Week 2021 and featuring expert guest speakers focussing on mental health and wellbeing.

With mental illness on the rise, there has never been a more important time for business owners to look after their own as well as their employees’ wellbeing. Christine Husbands, MD of RedArc, provider of FSB Care, will share some practical advice for business owners and explain the support available from FSB Care.

Hosted by Michael Janes, FSB Volunteer Area Leader, we will be covering the following:

  • FSB Download – A brief summary of what the FSB are doing to support you.
  • Guest Presentation: Christine Husbands, MD of RedArc, delivery partners of FSB Care.
  • Open Q&A – Your chance to ask Christine any questions you may have, or bring up topical matters for discussion with all registrants.
  • Informal networking in breakout rooms – Your chance to introduce yourself, your business and what you are looking for in small groups. Don’t worry, rooms will be switched up every 10 minutes so you’ll get the chance to speak to everyone!

You’ll also have an opportunity to connect with all registrants via LinkedIn or other forms of social media, as well as share contact details and messages using the chat function.

Your Zoom joining link will be sent in your confirmation email so do not discard this. The link can also be found in the 'My Events' section on the FSB website. For help and support regarding this event, please telephone our dedicated events helpline 01253 336028 or email [email protected]

This event is open to all local businesses, FSB Members and non-Members that want to network with each other with a view to building long term relationships. The event is free to attend.

We have a dedicated support hub on our website which gives specific guidance for small businesses on the Coronavirus.

FSB Care
Running your own business isn’t always smooth sailing, but when you’re the boss, who can you turn to? If the worst should happen and you become unwell with a serious physical or mental health condition, having a friendly and experienced personal nurse you can turn to for reassurance is invaluable. As an FSB member, you can access the support provided by FSB Care as a right of membership. Your FSB Nurse can help you in many ways, including understanding your health condition and all its implications, navigating the NHS and other health services, finding local support and specialist equipment and provide a course of therapy or counselling suitable for you.
