This event is designed to bring together the small business community and representatives from the HS2 project with a view to providing:
- A very brief update on the project
- An overview of the types of opportunities which exist within the HS2 supply chain
- A general overview from HS2 on requirements to be able to bid for contracts (e.g. EDI, Modern Day Slavery, etc.) and their approach to engaging with the market
- Information on where the opportunities are publicised and more about future events at which you will have the opportunity to meet contractors directly
During the event, delegates will also receive information on the work FSB has done to aid small businesses’ recovery and the wealth of resources available to you.
There will also be a Q & A session, if you could submit your questions ahead of the event that would be greatly appreciated.
By the end of this session, you will have received key information on not only the types of opportunities that exist within the HS2 supply chain, but also how you can prepare your business to engage with other supply chains outside of this project
