Peer Support for Women in Business

Event details
Over the last year FSB have been partnering with the University of the West of England (UWE) in the South West to run a fully funded Small Business School for our members. Now this scheme has come to an end UWE have been able to access some further funding to support female entrepreneurs across the region and we are delighted that they plan to continue to work with FSB to offer this programme

Senior Lecturer at UWE’s Bristol Business School, Alison Miles will host these sessions, which will provide a combination of business theory alongside the opportunity to discuss the issues most important to you and to discuss the best way forward to resolve your challenges as a group based on the experiences of your peers.

Research suggests that female entrepreneurs have been hit hardest by the pandemic. This set of 5 sessions   will provide the opportunity to form a small group which "facilitated by Alison" will help you to develop solutions to strengthen and grow your business and form a strong network going forward.

Attendance at all 5 sessions required.

  • Session 1 on 20 Oct
  • Session 2 on 3 Nov
  • Session 3 on 17 Nov
  • Session 4 on 1 Dec
  • Session 5 on  15 Dec

One booking for all of the above sessions is sufficient

We only have a limited number of places on this course, so may end up running a waiting list if necessary.

This event is open to both FSB members and non-members.
