Join us for our third Our Business is Wales Virtual Town Hall event where we will explore infrastructure in Wales and how this should be developed to grow Welsh smaller businesses

Event details

Effective infrastructure is critical to the long-term success of our economy and its businesses.

Last year we asked you if Wales’ infrastructure has an effect on your business – 63% said their firm has seen either increased cost, reduced profit or fewer customers as a result of infrastructure that doesn’t meet their needs. While road infrastructure continues to be of significant importance to businesses, other aspects, such as developing digital connectivity, have become more pressing than ever.

  • Does Wales have the infrastructure it needs to be successful?
  • If you were to create a 30 year vision for infrastructure, what would you prioritise?
  • Are businesses in Wales supported to become more environmentally friendly?
  • Do we need to rethink how we approach regulation in Wales?

Join us together with Prof Tom Crick MBE, member of the National Infrastructure Commission for Wales (NICW) and Professor of Digital Education & Policy at Swansea University, and Ashley Rogers, Director at Gill & Shaw Ltd, FSB Member, Commercial Director for the North Wales Mersey Dee Business Council and Board Member of the Growth Track 360 cross border Rail task Force, to help inform the debate about infrastructure in Wales and what changes are needed by smaller businesses in the coming years to help develop sustainable infrastructure and grow the Welsh economy.

As part of FSB Wales’ Our Business is Wales campaign, we will be holding an interactive 'Virtual Town Hall’ to discuss these issues and get your input as to what can be done to grow your business. You will have the chance to hear from experts on the issue and contribute directly to the discussion.
