Elaine Rémy is the founder of Vie’s Jamaican Rum Cakes - The Rummiest Cakes in Cumbria. During her talk, Elaine will share how being a qualified transformational coach who specialises in emotional intelligence and resilience has helped her successfully navigate the ups and downs of her first years in business from selling her first cake just two weeks before the first lockdown to receiving the Start Up Business of the Year Award from the British Business Bank. She will also let you in on her new project for 2022.
We will also be joined by Andrea Wallace from Lancaster City Council who will be speaking about the support the City Council has for businesses.
This is a free event, but booking is essential for catering purposes.

The group will discuss the key issues affecting women in business, share ideas and support each other with suggestions on how to be the very best you can be.
