This virtual networking event has just changed day, and will now be held bi-monthly on the first Tuesday of the month, and provides local businesses with a way to keep in touch. Everyone is welcome, join us to meet up, make new business connections online, share information and of course to stay up to date on all the latest business issues in and around the area.
Events alternate each month, with either pure networking, or networking plus a presentation focussing on a topic important to small businesses. There is also a quick FSB update, when members and non-members can ask questions.
June's speaker is Joyce CoomberSewell who is a Mentor and Autistic advocate. Her topic will be 'The life journey of an autistic'.
FSB member and volunteer - Nigel Davies of PIN Creative and FSB Greenwich Borough Action Group Lead Bayo Igoh of Bigoh Coaching and FSB Lewisham Borough Action Group Lead will be co-hosting this event. Rachel Barham, FSB Membership Advisor will be providing a brief update on membership benefits.
Despite (or perhaps because of) her diagnosis of autism, dyslexia, ADHD, and physical and verbal dyspraxia Joyce ran a successful telecoms business before starting, with her wife Jane, CoomberSewell Enterprises LLP.
Joyce undertook her Bachelor’s degree at the young age of sixty in Counselling, Coaching and Mentoring. Proving that you are only as young as you feel. She now has a Masters by Research where she looked at ‘Has The Way Society Constructed Their View Of Autism Developed Or Changed Since The 19th Century?’
The event is open to all businesses, members and non-members, and although focused on the Lambeth, Lewisham, Greenwich, Southwark area, everyone is welcome to attend and to strengthen their business across the region.
