'In Confidence' FSB Cornwall Women in Business Conference

The Federation of Small Businesses in Cornwall are holding the most major Women in Business conference [FSB Women “In Confidence” Conference] that the county has ever seen on 6 March 2020 at The Falmouth Hotel.

FSB Women “In Confidence” Conference - Open to all (not just FSB members)

An all-day event, the aim is to focus on personal development, inspiration and confidence for; women running small businesses, about to start their own business or playing a key role in a business. Is this you? Read on……

You may remember, or are still kicking yourself for missing, our highly acclaimed Women in Business Conference 2018 at Hotel Tresanton. Think of that but BIGGER! This time we expect 100 to 150 delegates, an array of motivational speakers and 9 workshops, to choose your favourite 3 from for the afternoon. With all refreshments and every comfort catered for, including a networking lunch, attendance for the day is priced at just £35. Be warned we had a waiting list of over 30 last time so do grab your place now.

“In Confidence” is either a term for telling a secret or being in a physical state of being confident. Both apply at this event as the take away will be the business secrets, the new contacts, renewed self-assurance, refreshed direction, ideas, help, advice and all the real nuggets of wisdom that you can gather and apply to your own situation.

Taking place 2 days before International Women’s Day (8th March) we will celebrate all the passion, bravery and drive that our businesswomen demonstrate. There will be support, examples of success and how to get there for those who have maybe not made it yet. And yes, we will also be exploring how the mind works too because Henry Ford was spot on when he said “Whether you think you can, or you think you can't – you're right.

Attendees will be at a range of stages in their business from start-up to the more experienced and everyone will take away benefits and have something to give. A real boost at this difficult economic time. The thing is that the really major conferences don’t happen here in Cornwall and as they are all usually out of county, we wanted to make one happen right here!

Oh, and you may not know that one of our key lobbying themes across the organisation is to support Women in Enterprise and have also partnered with Facebook on https://shemeansbusiness.fb.com/uk/ so you can see that we are very serious about supporting this sector. Why? Because we all need a boost sometimes so hopefully whatever your gender or personal situation everyone can benefit from the learning and inspiration from another group. So whilst this is classed as a “women in business conference”, actually anyone can come along as we can all do with some new contacts and new ideas.
