Join us for an informative session with Detective Superintendent Neil Jones who runs the Home Office supported North West Cyber Resilience Centre (NWCRC) to learn more about how you can protect your business from a costly cyber-attack.
Cyber-attacks typically target the smallest firms, cost businesses huge sums to put right, and even more in lost trade and revenue.
DSI Jones will be on hand to take your questions, and talk about the most common threats affecting businesses today, and the sophisticated – and not so sophisticated – ways in which organised crime gangs hack your systems, infiltrate your company databases, and ultimately take your cash.
You will also be able to learn more about the work of the centre, and how their technical experts – working alongside seconded police officers - can help you and you’re your business stay safe.
And to mark the NWCRC’s official partnership with the FSB Greater Manchester, FSB members will be able to claim one of 300 fully funded NWCRC business resilience support packages worth £500 just for attending this event.
Funded using the proceeds of crime seized from criminals, this package includes:
- A 12 month Business Starter Membership - aimed at micro and small businesses ready to take the next steps and train their staff in cyber security basics.
- Cyber Security Policy & Procedure Templates - designed by cyber security consultants and police officers.
- 1-2-1 Security Consultation - to review your current security measures and create a bespoke plan for your business
