Join us for B.A.M.E Diversity & Inclusion networking on Wednesday 5 May at 12 midday

Event details

B.A.M.E Event part 3,  following the success and popularity of our first two FSB London & Thames Valley B.A.M.E Networking events in March and April.

Now a monthly opportunity for allies and other members alike to come together, to network, share, learn and support each other.

At a glance :

  • Share the network’s purpose and aims
  • Hear from and be inspired by a panel of FSB B.A.M.E + businesses owners and allies
  • Explore how we can support our community moving forward and drive FSB’s EDI - Equality Diversity & Inclusion agenda.

We aim to include in each event a key speaker, panel discussion, Q&A and breakout rooms.

The speaker

Sabrina Aries - D’Rose Developments Ethics & Equality Change Maker

Subject: Equality Monitoring Update

This free FSB virtual event is open to all businesses, and non-members are welcome to attend, bring a friend, colleague or business associate to accompany you, so they too can benefit.

One of FSB’s objectives is to value diversity and inclusion in everything it does and the strength of FSB rests on attracting the greatest number and diverse small business owners and the self-employed which reflect the whole of the UK business population. We therefore want existing and new small business owners and the self-employed, from whichever communities they belong to, to feel welcomed and a part of the FSB community.

All of our events, whether focused on a specific issue or equality characteristic, are therefore open to all. This also underpins the notion of allyship where marginalised groups are supported by those not from the specific groups or communities and offers mutual benefits for shared learning, wider conversations and a collective responsibility to inclusivity.
