Event details

Mental Health Awareness Week takes place from 18-24 May 2020. The FSB in West Yorkshire are delighted to be working with the First Aid Box Training & Event Solutions to put on this webinar to help small business owners better understand issues around mental health.

1 in 4 people in the UK will suffer a Mental Health illness within their lifetime with 1 in 6 people suffering this in the workplace. Under the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 employers are required to consider their employees mental health alongside their physical health when undertaking their First Aid requirements.

In this webinar the First Aid Box Training & Event Solutions will look at what Mental Health is and the conditions that can affect it. They will also look at the potential causes and the aims of First Aid for Mental Health.

This is a webinar for all small business owners who want to better understand the specific issues faced around mental health and what they could be doing to improve the workplace for themselves and their staff.

The webinar will also look at the types of help that is available as well as how it can be accessed.
