Alternative ways to raise finance for your business

Event details

Times are changing in finance and small businesses now have a wide range of options when looking to borrow. Join us for this event where our speakers will discuss the less obvious sources of finance and the new opportunities for new types of funding available to business owners across Gloucestershire, Bristol, Somerset, Wiltshire and Dorset.

There will then be time for questions at the end of the event. If you have a burning question already, please feel free to submit it when you book and we can ensure our panellists address it at the event.

Our speakers are:

Sim Ilyas from the Great Western Credit Union

Sim will discuss how working with them can help your business thrive by encouraging your staff to save and borrow using their money at work scheme https://moneyatwork.org.uk/, whilst supporting others in your local community.

Tom Miller from Silvatree

Tom will explain how their community currency works and how bartering for goods and services can improve the cash flow in your business

Guy Bridge from FSB Funding Platform.

Guy will explain how your FSB membership gives you access to a broad range of sources of finance and how they can help you to access those you may never have considered
