Hear from a business owner about the importance of Intellectual Property (IP) and the role that it played in the success of her business by securing market share, standing up to challenge in the courts and achieving lucrative licenses. Mandy Haberman will talk about her business journey following the invention of the Anywayup Cup®, the non-spill cup, which has revolutionised the trainer cup market worldwide. A trainer cup is a beaker that aids a baby's transition from the breast or bottle to drinking from a regular open cup.
Paul Wilson, FSB Policy Director will also be on hand. Paul Wilson joined FSB in April 2021 as Policy Director. He oversees all of FSB’s policy development work and research in Westminster, lobbying on behalf of small businesses across the UK. Paul’s team were responsible for producing the recent ‘Spot Light on Innovation Report’.
