Local online networking designed to benefit entrepreneurs, the self-employed and small businesses in the area. In our sharing session we will be joined again by guest presenter LinkedIn Specialist Tony Silver.

Event details

This area networking event aims to bring together businesses, and provide the opportunity to stay connected, supported and updated in these changing and challenging times.

These regular monthly events are on the third Wednesday each month and hosted by FSB Member and local business owner Justin Charlton-Jones, a business coach, experienced business leader and public speaker.

At a glance

Meetings are friendly and informal, and each business will have the chance to introduce themselves and also to freely network with other attendees in break out rooms. Each session includes a short presentation, or sharing session on a topic of interest to small businesses.

All small businesses are welcome to attend and to strengthen their business across the region.

We also welcome non-FSB members, this is a great opportunity to bring a friend, colleague or business associate to accompany you, so they too can benefit.

The speaker

Tony Silver will talk about the ‘7 second syndrome’ on LinkedIn, and how to optimise those first few seconds when someone views your profile. You will also find out: how to get an engaging profile top section; find out about about recent updates; and learn about sections that will enhance your use of the platform.

Tony is a LinkedIn Specialist, who has been working on the platform for over 15 years and was trained 14 years ago by a master trainer. He works with businesses from start-ups to global brands. Tony has access to an invaluable LinkedIn trainer network that allow him to offer insights many others do not have access to.
