Come and network at the opening event for the one-day ‘Merged Futures’ conference Featuring networking and advice and discussion amongst small businesses and industry specialists, on how digital technology could help grow your business.

Event details

Merged Futures 3' is Digital Northampton’s third annual technology innovation showcase. The showcase brings together digital and tech experts in business, education, healthcare and more from Northamptonshire and beyond.

FSB has included our very popular monthly networking session into the full-day schedule, bringing a diverse and dynamic group of businesses and experts together to discuss digital technology opportunities, hosted by FSB Area Leader and local business owner Sally Wood.

Our first 15 minutes will give you the opportunity to chat and network freely before we hear from Richard Beards from Digital Northampton who will introduce you to the free services they offer to small businesses in Northamptonshire.

FSB will outline an overview of digital skills and tech from the small business perspective and some of the resources and support available. Following this there will be hosted breakout rooms where you’ll get the opportunity to get to know contacts better, and discuss your key challenges and opportunities around digital and technology with other attendees.

You’re promised a warm welcome, a relaxed environment and some interesting conversations, we look forward to seeing you there.

Further information

One of FSB’s objectives is to value diversity and inclusion in everything it does and the strength of FSB rests on attracting the greatest number and diverse small business owners and the self-employed which reflect the whole of the UK business population. We therefore want existing and new small business owners and the self-employed, from whichever communities they belong to, to feel welcomed and a part of the FSB community.

All of our events, whether focused on a specific issue or equality characteristic, are therefore open to all. This also underpins the notion of allyship where marginalised groups are supported by those not from the specific groups or communities and offers mutual benefits for shared learning, wider conversations and a collective responsibility to inclusivity. If you have any questions please email the event organiser here: Amy Gillespie.
