Janet Jack is currently the Finance Director for the FSB. During the last 2 years she has been instrumental in driving change within the commercial side of the organisation; and in the restructuring and modernisation of the finance department.
Janet has been actively involved in FSB since 2007 and has held a diverse number of roles – starting as Branch Treasurer, becoming National Councillor in 2012 and taking up her current role in 2013.
As well as the experience gained in various roles at FSB, she brings a huge amount of practical business experience to her role at FSB as she set up and runs JJBA, a bookkeeping and accountancy practice, which is based in Preston. Janet launched the business back in 2000 and it has since grown from a start-up to a thriving business with a portfolio of over 150 clients. She has hands on experience of working with a huge variety of businesses - from catering to retail, IT, manufacturing to finance and with turnovers ranging from £15,000 to £15 million.
Janet is passionate about helping small businesses to succeed. She brings all her financial expertise and business experience to her role in which she is well placed to ensure FSB retains a strong balance sheet and is in a strong position to pursue its long-term strategy and business plan.
