The West Yorkshire Region has over 5,500 members and consists of five branches: Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds, and Wakefield each covering its metropolitan local authority area.

 

The West Yorkshire National Councillor, Chris Glen, is an elected director on the FSB's national governing body.

 

Included in these webpages are contact details for the FSB's regional and branch secretaries and information about branch events and  local FSB support.

Through the Real-Life Entreprenuers campaign we want to showcase the stories of businesses who have achieved success or overcome an obstacle.  We also want to highlight the lessons that West Yorkshire people have learnt in running their business that could be shared with start-up businesses.

West Yorkshire Barriers to Enterprise Survey

 
 

Whether you started your business in the last year or have been in business for over thirty years, you are an entrepreneur!

You know where you want your business to go, and what you want to achieve. You also know the obstacles and issues you face in making it happen. These could be accessing the finance your business needs, getting to grips with changing legislation or managing your cash-flow.
 

Over the coming months the FSB in West Yorkshire will be publicising the successes that businesses in West Yorkshire have had in the local media through our Real-Life Entrepreneurs campaign. We will also be alerting MPs and local Councils on the things that frustrate you most and the changes and improvements you want them to make.
