David Ramsden   David runs his own Political and Parliamentary Consultancy, advising a range of organisations from ‘blue-chip' companies; lawyers; trade associations and other service providers.  David started his organisation in 1994, following a number of years as Head of Public Affairs at Kingfisher plc; that same year David joined the Federation.   David is an active member and, in the recent past has held the post of Regional Chairman and Chairman of the South West of England Policy Unit.  David sits on the FSB's National Policy Committee looking after ‘special projects' and also is a member of the national employment sub-committee.  Married with two grown up children, David is keen on youth work and chairs his local Scout Group.  In his spare time he plays golf, caravans and enjoys his eight grandchildren.
